Metoder

I starded my Physiotherapy journey in 2000 treating Horses. Since then I have learned about many different ways to improve your animals wellbeeing.
  • Manual Therapy (Physiotherapy & Osteopathy)
All Joints are tested for funktion. Decreased range of motion is analyzed as far as possible and action is taken to optimize or eliminate the cause.
  • Neurodynamics
Different motion test make it possible to locate Nerves, that are not sliding between the sourounding tissue as they should be. Then we utilize these tests to mobilise the Nerve again.
  • Akupunkt Massage (Penzel Method / APM)
This is an approache of traditional chinese medicine, regulating and harmonizing the energy channels, activates the self healing mechanisms of the body.
  • Laser Akupunkture
    See above
  • Dorntherapy and Breussmassage
A very gentle method to find any demobilization and dysbalance of the Spine and the extremities
  • Different types of massage techniques
Through cause of bad/false angulation, overloading of the muscles, accidents, stress or not optimized
training, the muscles function can be limited. This leads to other muscles in the sourrounding taking over the job = the body starts compensating, so it can get the job done. This most likely will lead to high muscle tension. It can go so far that tensed up muscles will influence the range of motion of a joint, so the joint looses its mobility.
Different methods of massage are performed to the affected muscle groups. The massage increases the bloodflow, and influences the neurosystem of the muscles. The Massage can also include mobilization and stretching (passiv and active).
  • Kinesiotaping
This is a great way to help the muscles relax or to give some more support if needed. There is many ways we can use a Tape. Of course with dogs it has its limits, depending on the coat of your dog.
  • Kinesiology
With the help of kinesiology, imbalances and stressors can be located in the body, before the symptoms get out of hand. We test the energie channels (Traditional chinese medicine) and also look for emotional stressors.
Stress factors can be resolved and the body's self-regeneration is activated.
Kinesiology helped me overcome my situation-related fear after a riding accident. Even though there was 20 years between the accident and the first treatment.
  • Equipment
My little helpers: Laser, therapeutic Ultrasound, TENS (electrotherapy), Magnetfieldmat, Kinesiotape, tuning forks, infrared lamp, dog-treadmill, vibration plate, Stance analyzer, Black Roll Fascia tools.
  • Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is a great gentle approach to getting your dog back on track after an operation, or to help your senior friend back in to shape. It is great to help dogs walk again after having an episode of beeing paralysed, ex. after a herniated disc.
I loved my watertreadmill, but due to space issues it could not come with me to Sweden. We hope things will be looking up, and that we will be offering Hydrotherapy again 2021,
